Eleanorah Carynah

Born on November the 17  1977 in Kampala the main capital city of Uganda which is found in the East region  of the African continent.

I had a passion for drawing since childhood and what inspired me most about drawing is the story  telling in pictures , I realized that one could actually tell a story  through drawing rather than writing and this enthused me a lot and gave me the zeal to carry on.

I majored in commercial industrial art and design in which I acquired a diploma and later on a Bachelor of Arts degree at Nkumba University Kampala. Later on i pursued further studies at Makerere University Kampala for one year where I completed a certificate in architecture.

I mainly do realism and abstract paintings but also work with other types of medias like water color, oil paintings, pastels, charcoal, chalk, pencils and acrylics.

I have worked with joint youth exhibitions at Tulifanya gallery in Kampala, as well as wall paintings in homes and murals on canvas and also had the opportunity to do back drops for famous Italian ballet dances and teachers in Uganda.
